Hand-dyed silk

I dye silk with natural dyes and also acid dyes. I love to find new silks to dye and try to keep a large range of different types and textures of silk. Fabrics, ribbons, threads, yarns, silk caps, lap, hankies, roving, brick, noils, rods, mulberry cocoons, eri cocoons, degummed cocoons, filature and cocoon strippings. Silk is wonderful for adding texture to felt-making and batts for spinning.
