Basic materials and insruction kit - create your own felting mat

Materials only kit and step by step colour instructions to create a wool felting mat approx 18 x 18 cm . Approx 100g wool fibre and strips of thicker style pre felt edging. You could make bigger mat by buying multiple packs. Or equally you can create two small travel mats from one kit. 

Colour instructions that are simple step by step for the needle felted stages of creating the mat. Then different options to wet finish your mat.  The second photo shows final mats I created using these ingredients for reference (this is not included in the kit).

This kit does not include a sponge or needle felting surface such as rice filled pad, wool Matt or brush. You will also need your own needle

You can wet felt finish the mat either using a washing machine or your usual wet felting technique( both of these options explained in instructions)

Please note that needle felting needles are sharp are not suitable for small children. I would expect a child under 12 would need adult supervision/ company with this project.

My angel policy allows you to create work for sale or personal use. I am happy for you to use the drawings/ instructions to complete many mats. Please do not reproduce and sell kit though.
